Louise Korber is a native
of Wilmington, Delaware, where she graduated from Ursuline Academy. She attended the Pennsylvania Academy
of the Fine Arts and received both BA and MA degrees from the University of Delaware
in Fine Art. Louise did graduate
work at the University of Pennsylvania, and has taught art in both private and
public schools in Wilmington. She
is presently a watercolor artist in the Newark area. She is a “signature member”, which is an accredited member,
of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, the Philadelphia Watercolor Club, and
the Baltimore Watercolor Society, which is the oldest watercolor society in
America. Louise is also a member
of the Fellowship of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Delaware
Art Museum, the Chester County Art Association, the Studio Group, and the
Council of Delaware Artists.
Louise has studied watercolor with Carolyn Anderson, Domenic DiStefano
and Robert McKinney.
