Kreisel, William

William Kreisel was born in 1938, in
Wilmington,
Delaware. A graduate of
Wilmington
High School and the Philadelphia Museum College of Art, now known as the University of the Arts in
Philadelphia, where he majored in illustration and design. He studied drawing and painting with award winning painters, Albert Gold, William Barnett and Henry Pitz.
Bill has created designs and illustrations for businesses and organizations in the
Delaware
Valley for more than 40 years. He has worked for four advertising agencies in
Wilmington and spent 22 years as a principal in a large, broad-spectrum design agency. In 1993, he established The Drawing Board, a market communication firm, which specialized in the design and production of printed material.
Now retired he is a full-time painter. His style ranges from realism to representational-abstract painting. He enjoys both working in watercolor and oils.
