Lawrence, Daniel

Daniel Lawrence was born in 1956 in Wilmington, Delaware.

He studied advertising and commercial art in Philadelphia after graduating High School, but the desire for greater self-expression through the fine art of painting remained constant and ultimately forced a change of direction in his artistic career.

He concentrated on perfecting his painting skills in watercolor, and although greatly influenced by the Brandywine Tradition and its artistic heritage, his paintings are original, personal expressions of the world he sees.

Daniel captures the life of the subject he paints.  And with the distinctive style of his watercolor paintings the many subtle moods of nature are dramatically revealed.
