Minster, Marilyn
All original artwork framed.
The Arts have always been a passion with Marilyn Minster. She cannot remember not having pencil and paper in hand, drawing. In the 6th grade, she decided to be an Interior Designer. She was the President of the Art Club in high school, arranging exhibitions and doing the artwork for the annual yearbook.
After high school, she attended the Maryland Institute of Art on a full scholarship, graduated as an Interior Designer. Upon graduation, she worked for R. T. Dennis’ Guild Gallery as a designer in
Waco,
Texas while pursuing classes in watercolor at
Baylor
University.
Marilyn was actively involved in Civic Affairs in the town of
Elkton, doing sketches and watercolors of the
Main Street for redevelopment. She continued to pursue her interest in art, studying sculpture with Angelo Frudakis and Graphic Arts at Life Extension Course at the
University of
Delaware.
